“Lovely afternoon ”
We spent a lovely afternoon with Malek wandering around the Medina. He tailored the pace for us because we had a 5 and 6 year old with us so that was much appreciated. There was only four of us so it was a private tour. He advised he doesn't like large numbers so keeps it to 4-6. And he knows where all the cats sunbathe which was exactly what my daughter wanted!

Malek is truly a passionate guide, who is wiling to show you his side of Hammamet. A young and energetic young but experienced guide. I recommend and end with a nice cup of tea with him at the entrance to the Medina.

“Tour à Hammamet ”
Malek un super guide que je conseille vivement ! Très dynamique, à l’écoute et toujours prêt à répondre aux questions. Il nous a fait une super visite de la médina de Hammamet en nous expliquant beaucoup de choses avec des anecdotes, en parlant avec les commerçants locaux. Vraiment top !

“Sympathique visite et moments d'échanges ”
Une belle façon de découvrir Hammamet avec Malek. On a visité mais également pris ie temps de rencontrer le "peintre aux poissons" qui a décoré la plupart des murs d'entrée des maisons de la vieille médina. Nous avons pu faire un goûter avec des produits locaux, bénéficié des conseils achats d'un jeune guide qui vit ici, et même avons pu repartir dans un taxi pour une somme dérisoire grâce à lui. Bref il y a ma découverte de la médina mais également de la vie des habitants et même de ceux de Nabeul. Merci et bonne continuation à vous Malek

“Really interesting tour”
This was a very interesting tour. Malek opened our eyes to parts of the medina and its culture that we would not otherwise have appreciated. He was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer all our numerous questions. Highly recommended.

“Great Tour Around Hammamet!!”
We had a fantastic time exploring the Hammamet Medina! Malek was absolutely lovely—so friendly and knowledgeable. He shared so much history about Tunisia and really brought the place to life. One of the highlights was being shown some hidden gems, like a talented local artist and a spot where we saw how traditional rugs are made. It felt really authentic and definitely worth the time—highly recommended!

“Perfect tour with a perfect guide ”
Malek was amazing during this tour. Very educational, knowledgeable and friendly. He also allowed me to add someone else to the booking which was very nice of him to do as he didn’t have to. It was really nice to see the medina whilst learning about the culture behind it. We were also taken to see how traditional carpets are made which was really insightful and honestly amazing. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Hammamet and wanting to learn about the culture.

“Lovely afternoon in Hammamet”
We had a fantastic experience on this walking tour of Hammamet! Malek was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating insights about Tunisia’s history and culture.
The tour took us through the labyrinth of the fort, where we admired the many stunning doors and intricate architecture. We also visited a traditional carpet workshop, where we saw the craftsmanship behind these beautiful rugs while enjoying some delicious mint tea. Though I didn’t purchase a rug, the shop had an impressive variety and a welcoming atmosphere.
To top it off, Malek took us to a charming café afterward for some excellent coffee. It was a wonderful afternoon—highly recommended for anyone visiting Hammamet!

“Informative & Supportive Guide”
Our guide Malek was a very informative and supportive individual. He took us to highly instagrammable nooks and cranies of the Hammamet Medina and several historical places around, provided good restaurant recommendations and assisted us with some shopping as we were walking past the busy souk in the Medina. Malek was soft-spoken, not rushing and also proactively took our pictures. Highly recommended!

“Tour with Malek”
What a pleasant and rewarding visit to Hammamet with Malek! We discovered the rich history of this medina, its traditions and its inhabitants, past and present, as we wandered round each alleyway and courtyard.

“A wonderful & rich discovery”
Malek was an interesting, warm and humorous guide as we explored the Hammamet medina. He gave us the opportunity to discover the history, architecture and typical crafts of the region, as well as to talk about a more contemporary Tunisia and gain a better understanding of the country. Guide gave us different choices to add in the tour, like the mosque, fortress and museum, adapting the tour to our selection.
Didn't rush us at any time, helping us doing some local shopping, and showing us a local carpet Tunisian shop.
