Hiking Around Guatavita: Free Tour

Our tour will start in the municipality of Suesca at 9 am, we will meet at the entrance of the imposing Rocks of Suesca. In our first part we will make a walking tour circuit type of approximately 18 kilometers on the imposing cliff where you can appreciate the typical life of rural areas, you will know the architecture of these places, you will see beautiful landscapes where you will be able to see the canyon of the owls and the Bogota River. Then we will go through a private nature reserve where you will learn a little about the biodiversity of this area of Cundinamarca and own characteristics on ecosystems given to 2500 meters above sea level. After passing this beautiful natural space where we can connect with the sounds of nature, birds and river, we will arrive at a rural area known by the name of Güita, which translates to the witches' paths of the Chibcha language used by the Muisca Indians who inhabited these lands. We will go to a viewpoint to appreciate from another perspective the canyon and the rocks of Suesca to return to the center of town and finish in a warm cafe to taste a dessert or typical delicacies.
