Join us to explore Frankfurt's iconic buildings and squares, from Alter Oper to Hauptwache and beyond. Discover the city's rich history and vibrant landmarks with our guided tour.
Things to do Free Tour around Frankfurt City
The starting point is the Old Opera, and then we continue to the Frankfurt promenade until Goethe Square. We can talk about Goethe and Johannes Gutenberg and continue to Hauptwache Square. Then, we walk to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and make a turn back at Eschersheimer Turm. Thurn and Praxis Palace are on their way back. We continue along the promenade. Here stands a saying, "At Zeil, shop for a while," because of the shopping area. Then we continue to the New "Old Town." Reconstructed as it was before WW2. We see kaiserdom, Cathedral of Frankfurt, Chicken Market, and Römer Building or Town Hall, Alte Nikolai Church, Fountain of Justice, Burning Books Memorial, and '' Ost Zeile''. In extra time we check Apple Wein Mosaic, Paul Church, Medieval Hause Werthyem and River Main.

Nous avons eu message du guide la veille de la date prévue nous demandant si on pouvait changer l’heure prévue car nous étions les seuls à avoir réservé. Nous avons répondu que nous ne pouvions pas changer l’heure. Aucune réponse suite à notre message mais un message de rappel de l’agence concernant notre tour du lendemain. Nous nous sommes donc rendu à l’endroit de départ du tour mais aucun guide ne s’est présenté. Nous avons eu un message du guide 5h plus tard…

We enjoyed very much our 2.5 hours of tour with Florian. He showed us around Frankfurt's center area, with a lot of interesting information and stories about the places we saw. He even took photos of us in the main attractions and answered all our questions. We also loved it that the group was small (only 5 of us) so it was almost like a private tour. Very recommended for first time traveling to Frankfurt.

This was an excellent tour. We went to the typical touristic places with aome great history but best of all were the hidden gems. It was very cold on the tour but the guide was great in taking us to several indoor stops to warm up and also get some cool sites in too. Excellent guide. I highly recommend!!
