Hike to the Three Waterfalls, Kana Yaku Trek

Our guide will be waiting for you at the meeting point (Plaza Foch) at 09:00 am, where he will give you all the necessary instructions so that the tour is carried out in the best way, then you will take the Ecovía to reach the Playón de la Marín and there take the public transport that will take you to the entrance of Cashapamba where the last transport will be taken to the town of Loreto. ​

Once in Loreto with our guide, you will begin a walk of approximately 40 minutes, where you will be able to appreciate the wonders that the landscapes of the Ecuadorian highlands hide, as well as learn a little about how people live in the countryside. After a refreshing walk, you will arrive at Las Tres Cascadas, here you will have a brief explanation about the place and recommendations for the visit, in addition, our guide will give you the delicious box lunch that we have prepared for you. ​

We will begin with the descent to the canyon where these magical waterfalls are hidden, this walk will last approximately 30 minutes where you will walk through a small montane forest to find the first waterfall, continuing with the tour you will discover the second waterfall and finally, you will arrive at a clearing where the third waterfall awaits you. ​

In the third waterfall you can enjoy its waters and recharge your batteries, and then enjoy your box lunch, here you will have free time to take photos,  appreciate the incredible landscape of the place, and if you like to swim in the waterfall.

To finish, we will begin with the ascent to the starting point of the last walk where the transport back to Loreto will be waiting for us, where we will take the public transport back to the city of Quito.
