We’ll start at the Chongqing Art Museum, Kuixing Tower is a traditional cliffside tower uniquely built into the city's mountainous terrain. One side is the 1st floor, while the other opens to the 22nd floor, creating a breathtaking illusion of height.
We’ll head to Jiefangbei Square, the buzzing heart of the city with the famous Liberation Monument. Next, wander through Shibati (Eighteen Ladders), a charming old neighborhood full of steep stone steps, narrow alleys, and traditional buildings. It’s a place where history blends with modern life, and you’ll hear all about its stories and secrets.
Bayi Food Street to taste some spicy, authentic Chongqing flavors. After that, we’ll add a bit of fun with a quick visit to a gaming arcade nearby.
The highlight is exploring a hidden tunnel behind Hongya Cave (Hongyadong), leading you to see the glowing stilt houses carved into the cliffs—a magical sight, especially when lit up at night.
