“MUY RECOMENDABLE, ¡MAGNÍFICO!”
Solo 5 estrellas porque no se pueden más!!! Youssef fue buenísimo! El mejor guía que he tenido nunca!
Nos enseñó Chefchaoen en dos horitas, con muchísima historia! Las calles más bonitas para fotos (ofreciendo hacerlas), los barrios con más historias, y las mezquitas más antiguas. Además, no tenía a nadie para el siguiente tour y se tomó 15 minutos de su tiempo para llevarnos hasta el lavadero y señalarnos la subida a la mezquita española. Un crack!
No nos metió en ninguna tienda para que comprasemos y llevarse comisión (solo una herboristería para que probásemos miel y argán, pero todo tenía precio, sin timo). Por favor, no os vayáis de aquí sin hacer un tour con Youssef!

The guide was 25 minutes late. He had limited English command, he referred to google on his phone when we asked questions. And he talked on His his phone a lot during the tour. Us and another couple left early.

Vamos al free tour 3 personas. Acabamos y como siempre pague, nada mal. El guía me dice, me exige, 10€ por persona. He realizado muchos free tours y siempre he pagado bien. No entiendo cómo me pueden exigir un precio fijo. NADA RECOMENDABLE Intentaré publicarlo en más sitios. Un mal rato nada apetecible.

Saad was oír guide, the tour had a relaxed and warm pace, which was as if you were with a friend from the village. He was happy for us to be curious and ask about the culture as well. As the group was small and Saad was so charming one has a better feeling than what these tours usually feel like. So glad we met.

My friemd and I had an excellent tour this morning, it us Eid today and majority of shops/ cafes closed and the streets empty so it was an easy relaxed tour. “AMAZING”
Me and my wife made the tour alone with Saad. It has been an amazing visit. Very interesting, very exhaustive and simple. We saw all the medina hidden corners and took a lot of wonderful pictures. Saad told us a lot of curiosities and very interesting things. We met a very kind guy in a very kind city.

“Saad is defently not sad ;)”
We book our tour in the night the day before. Like Germans we were 5 min before the tour begins there. Our Guide Saad welcomed us very friendly. The other members of our group didn't appeared (you should say that you don't come). So we've got a private tour. Saad was very nice to us and treated us like friends. We could ask him everything and he explained a lot. We would do it defently again. Special thanks to Saad!
PS: He protected us from the sellers, so the tour was very relaxed!

Saad, a native of Chefchaouen, substituted for Youssef and gave a very informative and personal tour of Chefchaouen — including the Kasbah, river, souk, medina — snaking through the alleyways, passing many of his friends along the way. His enthusiasm is infectious! We ended our tour at a scenic restaurant by the river, where we had lunch.

“"No free" walking”
Pues todo iba muy bien hasta que el guía Youssef nos sacó el último efectivo que teníamos, diciendo que es lo que debíamos dejar. Aún cuando el tour específica que es a voluntad. Vamos, su trabajo fue muy bien pero uno debe tener la libertad de elegir si lo hace o no al tour dependiendo de si presupuesto. Era nuestro último día y al ver los billetes nos lo sacó de la mano. No sé si no nos entendió que era lo último y no queríamos dejar todo. Lamentablemente opacó el momento, todo estaba interesante pero su manera de sacarnos el dinero fue muy irrespetuosa e inesperado. La gente local de Chefchoen es muy amable, al finalizar el tour conversamos con u local y nos comentó casi la misma información y caminamos por un paseo hermoso, sin pedir nada a cambio.

Our tour-guide was Said, and he confessed it was his first time guiding this tour, but I wouldn't have known. He was very friendly and amenable to flexing the tour around different participants' needs. I've spent a couple of weeks already in Chefchaouen but he still was able to take us to some lesser-known areas and give me interesting information, background and explanations on areas I'd been curious about.

Una guía por chefchaoen con detalles históricos. Bien explicado y ameno. En grupos grandes tal vez el guía debería ir asegurándose de que el grupo entero le sigue; a veces ha ido muy rápido y personas se han quedado atrás y perdidas en el tour. Al final el coste del tour que se exigía era 10€ por persona; es la primera vez que vemos esa exigencia por parte del guía.

The tour was good but guide was tipped reasonable amount for tour & then proceeded to ask for double the amount stating it wasn't enough, all on tour felt uncomfortable & it spoilt the experience.

“Great History Lesson and Great Pictures”
Youssef was an incredible and informative guide. I sprained my ankle before the tour and he was very happy to accommodate me and make sure I didn't get injured more while walking. I loved learning more about the history and culture of Chefchaouen with him and it gave me a great overview of the small medina. The pictures he took were also lovely and he made sure I went to all the best photo spots. 10/10 recommend his tour.

“Freetour and Hidden Gems. A basic fee in Morocco of €30 for 1 or”
Our guide was a happy fellow, friendly but limited English lead to misunderstandings and knowledge was ok. A little information not found on Wikipedia but not the quality of free walking tour guides we have had in Fez and Rabat. Those guides in Fez and Rabat were what we have come to expect after many free walking tours across Europe and the far East. Our experience with so called Certified guides is generally not so good. Free tour platform I don't recommend anymore as it isn't free. I understand the reasons explained by the guide but still it isn't about tips and what I think if the guide meets the customers expectations.

“Best tour to start a visit in Chefchaouen”
We made a very spontaneous booking of this tour with just 45 minutes ahead of our selected timeslot and Youssef immediately contacted us to confirm the tour takes place. We started our +2 hours journey through and around the beautiful blue old town with a lot of information about the history and a lot of fun as well.
There was a great balance between the more busy and popular areas with stores and photo places and some rather silent but still beautiful areas where it was a lot easier to listen to all the information provided by Youssef.
We can absolutely recommend this tour with Youssef as a great and sympathetic guide and to have a great start for a visit of Chefchaouen. Thanks again!

Youssef te lleva por toda la Medina a ritmo tranquilo (íbamos con un crio de tres años) y te muestra todo con todo lujo de detalles. Se le nota que es un apasionado de su ciudad y que sabe mucho de historia.
Guia simpatiquisimo y cercano. Hasta conocimos a su mujer y su preciosa bebé!
Una ruta circular de dos horas por la Medina muy recomendable (y sin esas engorrosas visitas a comercios a comisión).
