In the heart of Girón, where history and faith are intertwined, we will begin our tour at the Main Park, the old foundational point of the municipality. From there we will observe the Mayor's Office and tour the area of the Puentes de Cal y Canto, a symbol of colonial architecture and local gastronomic dynamism. We will continue to the Chapel of Las Nieves, a religious jewel of the eighteenth century, and pause to taste a typical product of Santander, a reflection of the authentic flavor of the region. We will continue to the Malecón del Río, known for its popular atmosphere, typical food and local handicrafts. Later, we will visit a space dedicated to specialty Santander coffee and another where tropical fruit products such as juices, desserts and ice cream are made. In the Peralta Park we will learn about the daily life of the municipality and taste an emblematic artisan preparation of its traditional bakery. We will close the tour at the Basílica Menor de San Juan Bautista, a historic temple of great religious value.
