Things to do Bordeaux’s Port of the Moon: Self-Guided Exploration Game
This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played outdoors, on the beautiful streets of Bordeaux. You will explore across 12 iconic locations while following a medieval quest about a missing photo album. At each location, you'll be solving a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on various elements such as monuments, graffiti, and facades. The game is mainly focused around the historic buildings and landmarks of Bordeaux and includes many hidden gems that simply cannot be found in a guidebook or a browser search.
Starting from the waterfront, the stops are spaced an average of around 350m apart, with each location taking around 8 min to complete. The route also passes through Musée d'Aquitaine and Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux and Place de la Bourse and Monument aux Girondins. At every stop, the app unlocks a new chapter and guides people to the next location.
DISCLAIMER: You will explore by yourself using the Questo app on your phone. No physical guide and no strangers will be involved. The full route covers approximately 4.2 km and takes around 1h 39min to complete. You can play it any day, at any time. Languages available: EN, FR, DE.
