As we wander through the charming cobblestone streets, you’ll be immersed in the stories that shaped this stunning city. With every step, you’ll encounter impressive architecture that reflects Avignon’s rich past. Our adventure will take us through quaint squares and hidden alleyways, where I’ll share captivating stories about Avignon’s vibrant heritage. With past visitors praising the blend of informative insights and enjoyable anecdotes, my aim is to create a lively atmosphere where history comes to life. I’m a passionate local guide, not a certified historian. This tour focuses on storytelling and local insight. *Church visits depend on opening hours. Many places are closed on Mondays. *The tour might be subject to cancellation if not enough participants are confirmed. *I will bring audio boxes, and if you want, you can bring your own earphones (traditional 3.5mm plug). Let’s embark on this unforgettable exploration together!

“Great walking tour of Avignon”
Ana Maria gave us a very informative and interesting tour of Avignon. Even though I had been here a couple of days already I learned much more in a casual, fun environment. She also gave us some great tips on other places to visit, including the library in the former bishop's mansion, and I really enjoyed seeing that. It wasn't on any of my lists, so this was a nice bonus from taking the tour. Plus her tip on a good chocolate store was very helpful. I recommend this tour.

“Wonderful tour if Avignon”
We had a great time learning about Avignon with Ana Maria. She is a passionate and knowledgeable guide for this beautiful city. She brought us to the highlights of Avignon and shared a few secret spots to take a look at…the public library is a must!
Ana Maria has a lovely upbeat presentation style, looking as though she couldn’t imagine a better way to spend a morning in Avignon! We would highly recommend this tour and hope to one day return to Avignon.

Ana Maria had wonderful pre-tour communication. We knew exactly where to meet and what to expect. She started exactly on time.
The headsets were amazing….so few guides offer them and it makes all the difference! Well done Ana!
We found the balance of history, local lore, jokes and useful information to be perfect. The tour was never dry facts/years, yet it had substance and we learned a lot.
It was a lovely afternoon spent seeing a beautiful city with Ana Maria and the rest of the participants.
