Join us on an exciting walk from the N1 Hotel, where you'll discover wildlife and explore a local market. Cross the historic Victoria Falls Bridge take in stunning views of the falls, the gorge, and the Zambezi River. Don't miss it!
Starting at the N1 hotel, we embark on a scenic walk through the bush, where impalas, warthogs, and baboons may greet us along the way. As your guide, I’ll lead you through the wilderness toward a local Arts and crafts market, where you can browse handmade items created by local artisans. After a short walk, we reach the border checkpoint, where I will handle the formalities for a smooth crossing into Zambia. All the while, the mist and thunderous sound of Victoria Falls accompany us.
Once through the border, we continue for about seven minutes, surrounded by the ever-present sound of the Falls. Upon arriving at the historic Victoria Falls Bridge, we’ll take a slow, scenic walk across it, offering you incredible views of the Falls, the deep Batoka Gorge, and the Zambezi River rushing below. It’s the perfect moment to snap unforgettable photos of this natural wonder, all without paying the $50 entrance fee just to see the Falls.
As we cross into Zambia, we’ll stop at a small museum featuring a scale model of the iconic bridge and fascinating historical photos that tell the story of its construction. Then we head back to town again.
