“Little interesting”

Victoria is not apparently overloaded with interesting history, buildings or architecture, and the guide did not add anything to it. We have been fortunate to be able to do tours in all kinds of places in several countries. I am sorry to say so, but this was the worst tour so far.

Our guide Mikhail was very friendly, fun and knowledgeable. He guided us through the city highlighting its attractions and giving thorough explanations of the history of Victoria. He also gave pointers for further exploration and made several dining recommendations.

“Time well spent”

The tour gave a good overview of Victoria. What is nice that it concentrates on a small area where the walking is not to strenuous and it includes lots of stops. My wife had a foot injury and was able to easily participate. For those interested, the tour clocked in at around 6500 steps over two and a half hours.

“No show”

I booked a walking tour and was extremely disappointed with the service. Unfortunately, the guide never showed up, which resulted in a wasted morning and disrupted plans. I had high expectations for this experience and was left feeling frustrated and let down. I hope the company addresses these issues to prevent future occurrences.

The tour fulfilled our expectations, which was to have some context on our first day in the city, so as to plan our next 2.5 days there. The guide was obviously new as he kept checking his phone between stops to prep for the next one. Still, his energy was high throughout and no one left the tour until complete.

Excellent tour, loved that Bruce provided actual historical facts, rather than anecdotes. He seemed very dedicated to the task and he was naturally funny without overly trying. We were only in town for the afternoon and would've had a much different experience in Victoria, were it not for his great tour.

No puede hacer el tour porque mi crucero llegó finalmente con retraso y ya había acabado cuando llegué. Pero la comunicación con toonie tours fue buena, y desde que supe que no podia llegar, lo comuniqué y me dijeron que era lo más interesante de la ciudad para ver, y fueron amables.
