Visit the exotic Amarbayasgalant Monastery and enjoy its history after lunch. Hiking in and around the monastery and taking good pictures. Amarbaysgalant monastery was established by the order of the Manchu Qing Dynasty’s Emperor Kangxi/Enkh-Amgalan Khaan/ and built between 1727-1736 to give respect to his teacher Undur Gegeen Zanabazar/High Saint Zanabazar/. The monastery consists of over 30 temples, and it is one of the least destroyed monasteries in Communist times, which has been protected by the Government of Mongolia since 1943. It is an excellent place to enjoy the Buddhist cultural heritage of Mongolia.
