Things to do Free Tour Vienna: Imperial Summer Palace Garden
Our Free Walking Tour in Vienna will offer you a perfect understanding of the popular Schönbrunn Palace Park, with its stunning views of the city. We'll begin with an introduction to the Palace's Ehrenhof and then move on to explore the grand parterre with its statues and the remarkable Neptune Fountain. We'll then walk through the Roman ruins, the Obelisk fountain, and the gorgeous fountain that lends the park its name.
Our licensed guide will introduce you to the most important landmarks, including the Gloriette (which we can pause at for a while), and we'll walk by other historical monuments of the gardens. As a free walking tour, the tour does not include entrances to any of the "paid" areas like the Palace, the Crown Prince's garden, the maze, the orangery garden, or the Palm House.
Please note that the Schönbrunn Gardens are big, therefore we won't be able to cover every part of it, but our licensed guide will show you the best of them and introduce the area in the best possible way. The tour lasts around 2 hours.
