Marquei o tour de última hora quando cheguei em Valpo e os guias nos esperaram sem problema, porque nosso Airbnb ficava longe. O passeio foi tranquilo e agradável, com muitas dicas. Teria sido melhor se estivéssemos mais descansados e interativos, mas isso foi uma falha nossa jajaja O guia Sebastián (Cerro 47) é muito simpático, arrisca um portunhol, indica cantos para comer e beber, os melhores locais para para foto e ainda deu a opção de escolher se queríamos o tour tradicional turístico ou o mais histórico.

“Fun walking tour of hidden gems”
We did the free walking tour to discover the culture and hidden gems of Valparaíso. Sebastian was an excellent guide and even thought we chose to do the tour in Spanish, he always checked in to make sure we understood what he was saying and would give a little English if we needed it. Highly recommended!

“all the colours of the city”
Esteban is a real Valparíasian who has a deep understanding of the fabric, layers and stories of the city and its people. Since it is winter season we were lucky to just be the three of us. It has been great to get a feel for the history of the city and the country, the foods, plants, arts and history. Esteban really did a good job here, he showed me the city and its famous hills. Not just the popular ones but also some hidden gems. He gave recommendations for restaurants, bakeries and other useful tips. He could've made it a bit shorter here and there but still really good overall

“Tour didn't take place”
Unfortunately, I have to give this negative review because of the lack of language skills by our guide, which made us cancel the tour. We booked 2 places on The Art of Valparaiso tour and when we arrived there were 2 guides only. None of them was listed in the guides list, which was on the internet (there were 3 different men and our 2 guides were 2 girls). We were asked by one of them which tour we wanted to do - this one or some other, that would be in a different place (we've already seen that place) - so we have told we wanted the one we have booked (we were a bit confused why do we have to decide on it again?). We were the only participants so far. In a few minutes came 5 guys, that haven't booked the tour yet - they just came to the meeting point. They have chosen the other tour. When the time come, we were told the other guide will come with us - her name was Renata (we were still the only 2 participants). She was nice and kind, but her level of English simply didn't allow us to understand too much. We are always very interested in what the guide says and we ask lots of questions. That was also this time - Renata tried to understand and answer, but unfortunately she didn't feel confident and comfortable speaking in English. We felt she wasn't prepared she will be delivering her tour in this language. It looked like she was surprised by this situation. After the first stop we decided to cancel the tour, to not make her feel uncomfortable. We don't blame her, but definitely, there was something wrong with organisational part of this. The other guide was fluent in English and instead of going with us, she went with the guys who just randomly came to the meeting point. We feel disappointed as we have lost our time and opportunity to get to know something about the city and it's great artisan culture.

This tour was good. Our guide Benjamin was very knowledgable about the area and passionate about his city. His English was easy to understand. We did the afternoon tour which included a lot of walking. We took a bus and a funicular walked many stairs and walked down hills. The area is fascinating with many beautiful murals. I would recommend this tour but would caution the amount of walking required.

Would not recommend this tour. We felt it was not worth our time. Some nice aspects was taking a bus up to a good viewpoint and taking a funicular down. Overall, tour lacked engagement and energy.

“Really informative tour”
We had only arrived in Valpo that morning so our afternoon tour with Benjamin was exactly what we needed to get to grips with the phenomenal array of murals and other art forms we were surrounded by. It turned out that we were the only people on the tour that day so we had Benjamin and his formidable art knowledge all to ourselves. Talk about a lucky break! Would recommend this tour to everyone!

Diese Tour um 15.00 Uhr am Nachmittag hatte leider exakt die selben Inhalte wie die Tour am Vormittag um 10 Uhr, obwohl im Netz zwei völlig unterschiedliche Touren beschrieben waren. Eine Erklärung dazu erhielten wir leider nicht. So viel dieser Termin für uns einfach aus, was sehr schade ist, wenn man nur drei Tage in Valparaiso ist.

Gracias, Seba. El paseo fue un estímulo para los 5 sentidos. Vimos, tocamos, olimos, oímos y saboreamos a Valparaíso. Fuimos con una bebé muy pequeña y un aficionado a la fotografía y Seba supo adaptar el paseo a nuestras necesidades. Valparaíso es una ciudad muy diversa, con un fenómeno artístico casi único. Vale la pena recorrerla y descubrir ese florecimiento vivo y dinámico.

. No disfrute mucho el tour el guía estuvo muy monótono, sentí que es un tour que preferiría no haber hecho.
Reserve en español y como la mayoría era de habla inglesa el guía me dijo que tenia que hacerlo solo en inglés es algo que deberían informar desde la reserva que el idioma depende de la mayoría de personas.

“Sebastian was great”
Don’t ask me how I managed it, but I arrived at the start early and quite by chance. Sebastian was there. I was the only person booked that day so we did set off a bit early. I was taken to places I would never have known about and it was all fascinating. It is true we needed a bit of help from Google but we got along great and I cannot thank him enough. What came across to me was Sebastian’s genuine love and pride for his city, and his enthusiasm to share it. I think my tour was supposed to last around 2 - 3 hours but mine went on much longer and I was even taken to the British Fire Station, which was a real surprise. These tours show you so much more than anything from a tour bus. I can honestly say that my Valparaiso experience has been the highlight so far of my Chilean holiday. I arrived back at my hotel in Santiago at 10 pm that night. A long day but worth it. I only wish I could have paid him more than I did. Thank you very much

Me fui de free tour con mi hijo de 10 años y Sebastián nos realizó el tour, fue maravilloso, quedamos encantados todo lo que nos enseñó, de todo un poco, sobre Valparaíso, las aves, los árboles. Pensé que quizás mi hijo a mitad de tour iba a querer irse, pero fue demasiado agradable, fuimos solo los 3 asique fue como tour privado haha, pero de verdad las 2 horas y media que estuvimos quedamos demasiado feliz. De no ser por el tour, no hubiéramos conocido nada de las cosas hermosas que hay en Valparaiso. Se los recomiendo en un 100% si no conocen Valpo o no con gran detalle, deberían tomar este tour, no se arrepentirán.

Un recorrido muy interesante y variado, el guia muy competente y simpatico que sabe interactuar con el grupo y ademas Sportarten muchas informaciones de fondo. Muy recomendable! Bravo! Super Tour abseits der üblichen Tourispots.

“Walking Tour ”
Fue un buen tour. El guía con mucho entusiasmo nos mostró lugares y tesoros ocultos del puerto, el manejo y conocimientos históricos muy buenos. Lo único que le mejoraría sería el manejo y nivel del inglés, ya que para ser un tour promocionado 100% en inglés era bastante básico.

“Extraordinario”
El tour fue una experiencia extraordinaria.. Sebastián nos compartió su amor por Valparaiso y poco a poco nos fuimos enamorando de sus hermosos rincones. y su arte callejero. Dada la situación, nos brindó la confianza de pasear y disfrutar Valparsiso. Muy recomendable
