Things to do Valparaiso Free Tour: Discovering the Heritage Area

If you believe the best way to get to know a city is by walking its streets, in the footsteps of generations before you, then we are the ones to walk with! Valparaíso was declared a World Heritage site in 2003 by UNESCO. And we want to show you this extraordinary and beautiful city in Chile. On this walking tour, you will get to know about the History and Culture of "Porteños". Let's meet in Sotomayor Square at 11 AM from Tuesday to Saturday. You will walk through the hills and have the opportunity to live the experience of going up and down the wonderful funicular that Valparaíso has. Route: - Muelle Prat - Sotomayor Square - El Peral Lift - Cerro Alegre - Cerro Concepción - Queen Victoria Lift - Plaza Anibal Pinto.

“Un paseo genial con mucha historia”

Tuvimos la suerte de ser poquitos por ser temporada baja y por lo tanto el trato con el guia fue más personal, sus explicaciones nos encantaron mucho ya que no sólo explicaba lo que veíamos, si no también su historia y el por qué de todo, atendiendo en todo momento a nuestras dudas, la verdad que muy recomendable si quieres hacer una primera incursión en la,ciudad y luego profundizar más por tu cuenta.

The tour with Maria was amazing. We explored the city and learned a lot about the history of the town and politics in Chile. We also went through the art district and Maria offert very interesting explanations and interpretation of the murals. Also, we learnt some new chilenian words with her.
