Things to do Toronto’s Distillery District Highlights: Self-Guided Exploration Game
This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played through the industrial past of Toronto. You will explore 15 different locations while following the story of a ghostly bootlegger searching for a missing whisky stash tied from prohibition era. At each location, you'll solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on monuments, graffiti, and facades. The route focuses on Distillery District, blending industrial history with local legends passed between residents. Perfect for history buffs, mystery lovers and urban explorers.
Starting from Soulpepper Theatre, the stops are spaced an average of around 200m apart, with each location taking around 5 min to complete. The route also passes through The Loft, Corkin Gallery, Clock Tower and Spirit of York Distillery. At each location, you'll solve a challenge and receive instructions for the next chapter.
