“A great introduction to Tirana”

Sabian was an excellent guide showing us around the central district of Tirana. We met in the square under the Clock Tower which was a 15min walk from our hotel. We had a nice group and Sabian explained each of the sights listed in his tour. The interesting part was listening to his take on the development of Albania since the death of the ex president and the state of Albanian politics and the development of Tirana since. I would recommend the tour for first timers to Tirana and use it as a basis of what to see. Fabian sent recommendation for things to see and do and restaurants to visit. We got a byrek from his recommendation which was really good and only 60p!!

It was a thoroughly enjoyable tour and it was well worth our time. Our tour guide Sabian was very knowledgeable about Albanian history and politics and gave us a good background into the historical buildings and landmarks in Tirana. His ability to add humor into his stories kept the tour lively and he connected with each member of our family to keep us all entertained. My daughter and myself booked a tour around Tirane centre. What a font of knowledge Sabian is. He was funny and informative we had been walking for 2 hours and it honestly felt like a short stroll. We had a mixture of Politics, Religion, some good old Spy stories that would make 007 seem like an amateur. Your Country is still in its infancy coming out of the communist closet. I hope progress keeps moving forward and Sabian is there to tell all visitors how proud he is to be Albanian and proud of how his city is progressing. Well worth the tip.
