“Joining the Dark Side”
We joined the dark side of Tokyo with Bryant, and loved it. Well organized and the communication before, during, and after the tour was excellent. Bryant has intimate knowledge of the area and how it operates, and we very much appreciated how he was able to discribe it to us. We liked that he stopped periodically and addressed the entire group. Bryant covered many topics on the tour, including prostitution, gambling, and drug peddling. After the tour he provided other local recommendations. We learned a lot, and would highly tecommend this tour to others.

“A dose of reality”
Wow! What a surprise. After a week of seeing the beauty, peacefulness and order of this beautiful country, Brian showed us a side that is sad, hopeless and depressing. Right around the corner of the bright lights, energy and high end shopping lies a dark world that uses and abuses its citizens. A sad reality but it is out there to be viewed, unashamed and without remorse. A worthwhile tour, not for the faint of heart.

Amazing tour, amazing Bryant, charming, lives and breathes Tokyo's nightlife, has a very extensive knowledge, makes the tour amazing and interesting. The tour was very impressive, full of information, lasted about 3.5 hours, and included much more than we expected. Highly recommended, Bryant is unique.

I have joined the tour, thinking I knew roughly what’s going on in the shadow of Tokyo’s nightlife but my mind was blown by the things I have learned on this tour.
Bryant was outstandingly knowledgable and opened our eyes to the things that were right in front of us but we didn’t know to spot them.

“Absolutely mind blowing tour”
This tour really changed the way I see Tokyo and Japan in general. It wasn’t dark in a scary way, but in a very fascinating and educational way. So much goes on in the night scene and behind closed doors, and this tour brings all that out. It's definitely not everyones cup of tea but I highly recommend you join this tour If you’re looking for something deeper and real unlike your average walking tours.

“Im so glad I joined this tour”
I’ve traveled a lot, and joined a lot of short tours but never been on a tour like this. It was raw and full of things you’d never find in a guidebook or see on social media either. This was such a unique and eye opening experience that showed us a side of Japan I would’ve never discovered on my own. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, highlight of the day! Bryan was super knowledgeable, and very generous with details and his life experiences which made the tour so much more meaningful. This is one of the best walks I've been to!
Bryant also touched on history, culture, politics and showed us the best food spots and places to party.
