This tour will take you to learn about Buddhism and Shinto and the basic differences between the two.
We will start our tour at the important statue of the last samurai Saigo Takamori, where we will learn about the history of Ueno Park, the end of the samurai era, and the beginning of the Meiji era.
We will continue our visit to the Kiyomizu Kannon-do temple and its relationship with Kyoto, we will go down to Benten-do temple and see its water lily pond.
Followed by the Hanazono Inari Shinto temple, where we will learn about Shinto and one of the most famous goddesses of Japan.
We will continue to see the face of an ancient Buddha statue, a vestige of the park's past. As we enter the final stretch of the tour, we will walk in front of the 5-story pagoda and its shrine, one of the most important in Tokyo, built more than 400 years ago by the first shogun of the Tokugawa dynasty. We end the tour in the large square of Ueno Park.
