Our guide Flora was really great. She briefly explained to us the history of Taiwan and then showed us some of the sights of the city. She explained everything very well and even shared some personal experiences. It never got boring. Highly recommended.

“Great and informational tour”
Yuan was a great and informative guide. She took time to explain the complex history of Taiwan and it's golden age. Although it was great, it was a pretty lengthy tour. I think it ended up being close to about 3 hours long with only 4 people going at a fast pace. Otherwise great!

“Block some time for this tour!”
This tour is a nice complement to the Taipei History Walking Tour. Join this if you have a few hours in the afternoon but ideally, join the morning walking tour first (on another day, unless you don't mind walking the whole day)
Our guide Cathy was very cheerful and shared a lot of trivia during the tour. Her pace was also friendly and managed to keep the group intact even when there were more than a dozen of us that day.

Our tour guides were Kathy and Wendy. And we liked them a lot.
The tour was well organized (prepared a brief intro to the overall history of Taiwan, which is especially informative to foreign tourists). The one-way walking tour focused around Beimen area. During the guided tour, we checked out a lot of spots; their detailed explanations helped connect those spots, which helped visitors know more about the history and the economic impact around the region.

This is an interesting and informative tour through an authentic part of older Taipei. It is a great insight into how people live and lived and the industries of tea, herbal medicine and artisans.
With a visit to two temples there is an insightful spiritual aspect and a chance to explore the four different architectural styles of the era.
Our guide was both informative and entertaining and I highly recommend the tour.
