Day Trip to Mtskheta, Ananuri-Gudauri and Stepantsminda

Full Day Tour: Mtskheta –Ananuri-Gudauri - Stepantsminda After breakfast, we will head to Mtskheta. It was the capital of Georgia from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. Mtskheta is on the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE sites list. In Mtskheta, we will visit the following sites. Jvari Monastery (Built in the 6th century) Sveticxoveli Cathedral ( Dated back to the 11th century) Samtavro Monastery (was built in the 11th century) After Mtskheta, continue to drive to Stepantsminda, on the road we will stop by Ananuri fortress, built on the right bank of the Aragvi River. It was the main set of the Aragvi Eristavi Duke Dynasty since the 13th century. Continue driving to Gudauri ski resort, where you will enjoy picturesque views of the Caucasus Mountains. After that will drive to Stepantsminda. You can enjoy the raw beauty of the area and see Gergeti Trinity Church - which dates back to the 14th century. Drive Back to Tbilisi.
