Tour of the Silkeborg Lakes & Himmelbjerget Hill

Discover one of Denmark’s most spectacular natural areas on a full-day tour through the lakes and forests of Silkeborg. We’ll begin our adventure by Almindsø, one of the most beautiful lakes in the area, and venture into the vast forests of Søhøjlandet. Along the way, we’ll discover trails, hidden lakes, scenic overlooks, and some of my favorite spots, while learning about the nature, culture, and history of this region of Jutland. The route will take us to Himmelbjerget, one of Denmark’s most iconic landmarks, where we’ll enjoy magnificent views of the region’s lakes and forests. During the tour, we’ll make several stops to rest, take photos, and enjoy the scenery. We’ll also have time for a lunch break surrounded by nature. We’ll wrap up the experience by exploring Silkeborg and its close connection to the lakes that surround it. This small-group experience is perfect for those who want to discover a different side of Denmark, away from the usual tourist routes.
