“Great tour of Gangnam with Mark”
We had a very enjoyable tour with Mark in Gangnam and saw a mix of things from the temple to COEX to the Gangnam "monument". Stories were enjoyable and we also tried the makgeolli drink, which folks either loved or hated. Something very different. He also pointed out some restaurants that we could visit on our own. Overall, very enjoyable.

“Gangnam walking tour with Mark”
We had an amazing tour in Gangnam with Mark and we loved it so much that we decided to join his Hongdae tour as well. He shared incredibly interesting insights into Korean thinking, mindset, and culture and interesting things you wouldn’t learn on your own. My wife and I took the tour with Mark. Mark is knowledgeable and have the ability. Taught us a lot about Budhism, Bushism in Korea and overall life in Korea. He supplied very interesting observations from his own personal experience. This was a tour full of conversation, fun facts, sights and stories. I think, it was one of the best free walking tours which I had in the last time. Marko has a lot of knowledge, he is funny and very kind. The tour lasted almost 3 hours (if i am correct). The tour was OK but I felt we spent too much time at the temple without actually getting to know other parts of Gangnam. So, it was not I was expecting.
Credit to Mark though for his insight and enthusiasm on Korea .

“The best guide you can wish for ”
From history and temple visit, to culture, current affairs, to stories about Psy and the Diamond spoon, this tour has had everything, but it would have been flat and uninteresting if it wasn't for Mark's eloquence, knowledge and passion. He was attentive to everyone in the group (and I think we're over 10 people), and was so full of energy all throughout. Mark gave us a many interesting insights of various sights in Gangnam, such as a temple, a huge library and the famous Gangnam Style statue. The atmosphere was fun and easygoing, and in the end Mark provided us with plenty of useful restaurant tips etc.

“Mark was a great guide for Gangnam”
I found this Gangnam tour to be fun and informative. Five star. Mark was effective talking about Buddhism walking through temples showing secret murals of enlightenment or K-pop or the history of a chaebol. He stopped at a 7-11 to buy rice liquor to share and talk about the tradition of hangover treatments in Seoul. Highly recommend. Nice pace and engaging.

Our tour of Gangnam with tour guide Mark was fantastic! We hit all of the major sites in Gangnam, and were given an excellent history and culture lesson about the sites and structures that we saw. The knowledge of our guide paired with his comedy and friendly nature made for an excellent tour. He also provided a wonderful list of sightseeing, restaurant, and nightlife recommendations that were incredibly useful! We went to some of the spots and they were all great. I did a lot of walking tours, but this one really exceeded my expectations. It was by far one the most informative and most interesting tours I've been on. Mark is such a kind person and he made everyone feel welcome. He chit-chatted to everyone while walking from sight to sight, showed genuine interest into what we had to say and ask and was able to answer all of our questions. The tour was around 3 hours long, which in the beginning seemed a bit intimidating, but the time with Mark simply flew by. After the tour we felt inspired to go check out many other places Mark recommended.

I absolutely loved this tour! Our guide (Mark) was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He provided a great mix of useful tips on how to get around and what to do in Seoul, as well as interesting historical and cultural insights about Gangnam. The three hours went by so fast because the tour was so enjoyable.
The guide speaks perfect English, as he lived in the U.S. for many years, making everything easy to follow. He was also very charismatic, which made the experience even better. The group was not too large, so it was easy to stay close and hear all the explanations.
Overall, a great experience—I highly recommend this tour with Mike to anyone visiting Seoul!

Marko was super great as an organizer abd as a tour guide. He provided a detailed description how to get to.the destination, since I was coming late, he was very understanding and send me exact location of the group so that I could find them easily. He knows a lot about Korea, buddism, travels a lot and has quite broad understanding of Asia, what is more importantly he willingly shares his knowledge about Korea and his personal perception, discoveries etc. I was glad that I joined the tour, it stats early, but it is worth of getting up earlier and coming from another part of Seoul????

We had a really good tour this morning with Marko! He is very friendly and really can tell a story! It was a tour with an introduction to Korea, history of Gagnam, boeddhism, music and economics all in one. We were pleased with it. It was nice that at some places (temple, library) you had some time to look around. And a nice surprise the graves of 2 Joseon kings in Gangnam at the end, we didn't know they were there! I really recommend the tour even if 3 hours seems a long time, it's worth your time.
