Things to do Dave & Adrian Free Tour: Discover the Best of San Salvador With Us

Visiting San Salvador nowadays is a must, after all of the changes we have had for the last 7 years we can assure you will find a very modern and fast growing city. We will visit Parque Cuscatlan where we will meet at, the church of ¨Sagrado Corazon¨, we will visit the Hospital area, walk through a university campus, taste the food and drinks of the central market, get to kilometer 0 where we will see the national palace, metropolitan cathedral, public library, Gerardo barrios plaza, Morazan plaza and at the end you will be able to discover libertad plaza by yourself (Rosario Church $2.00 entrance fee per person - optional). We will have a great tour, we will laugh and best of all we will make new friends. Important reminders about this tour: PS: Please bring some sort of skirt if you bring shorts to cover your legs, so you can come into some of the churches if you are a lady. On Mondays, Cuscatlan Park is closed, so we will meet at the main entrance located at Alameda Franklyn D. Roosevelt next to the bus stop. “I enjoyed it”

I enjoyed it. The library is very cool. So is the market we walked through. The tour is around 2-3hours. Guide was flexible with side quests. Answered all our questions happily.

“Great walking tour”

Isaac was a great guide. He told us about the history of the city and country and showed us new places like the library as well. He showed us places we could go and discover by ourselves later as well. We met some nice people in our group.

“Nice walk with lots of information”

The best thing I can write here is: BOOK THE TOUR WITH DAVE. You will not regret it, you get so much insight from a local's POV about the country's history, current shift and its future. He's really passionate about EL Salvador's progress and he really helps you understand what they've been through and why they appreciate respectful tourists and visitors so much. Book the tour, take walking shoes and a couple of extra bucks to buy some coffee, pupusas and other stuff Dave may recommend along the way. This tour is a must-see. The tour guide is very engaging and his helper Isaac is great! The history and information provided by the guide is essential to anyone traveling here that wants to get to know this country. “A Must Do- You will not regret it”

You HAVE to check out Dave's walking tour. First off, the dude is super chill and friendly. He was on time (no waiting around!), and you can instantly tell he loves his city. We learned SO much about San Salvador that I never would have known, just wandering around on my own. His knowledge of San Salvador's history, culture, and hidden gems is remarkable. We learned so much about the city – from its past, present, and to its vibrant future. Dave knows all the cool history, the best spots to eat, and even some hidden gems that only locals know about. He was really good at answering questions, and you can tell he's passionate about sharing his knowledge. Just a heads up: you'll be doing a fair bit of walking, so wear some comfy shoes! But honestly, it's the best way to see the city and soak it all in.

“Amazing tour, amazing person”

We took the walking tour with Dave this week. He was so kind, fun and engaging. My two teenagers loved the tour as well. We learned so much about all the positive developments that really changed the lives of the El Salvadoreans for the good! He took us to get local drinks, toured the old historical center, and churches. We really learned so much. Dave delivers the information in such a funny and captivating way. I was really lucky as there were no other bookings Dave had for the morning so I got it like a private tour! Dave was very knowledgeable. He’s born and lived in El Salvador..his insights his explanations were all very good..I learnt so much about El Salvador from Dave!
