Things to do Historic San Antonio: Self-Guided Exploration Game
This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played outdoors, in the real world. You will explore San Antonio across 11 iconic locations while following a wartime spy mission through forgotten docks. At each location, you'll be solving a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on various elements such as monuments, graffiti, and facades. The game is mainly focused around the Tobin Hill area of San Antonio and includes many locally known facts that simply cannot be found in a guidebook or a browser search.
Starting from the waterfront, the stops are spaced an average of around 200m apart, with each location taking around 8 min to complete. The route also passes through The Grotto, Pearl, and Pullman Market. At every stop, the app unlocks a new chapter and guides people to the next location.
DISCLAIMER: You will explore by yourself using the Questo app on your phone. No physical guide and no strangers will be involved. The full route covers approximately 2 km and takes around 1h 30min to complete. You can play it any day, at any time. Languages available: EN, ES.
