Get to know the city through the eyes of two passionate locals. With no set itinerary, you can personalize the tour or leave it to us for an informed introduction to the city. Make your trips about the people you meet, not just the places you see! Meeting point: Place de la Cathédrale Pl. de la Cathédrale, 76000 Rouen. This is a custom walking tour. The exact itinerary will depend on the length of the tour and the interests of the travelers. If you have special interests or wish to see something specific in the city, please request it before the tour. The tour may end at a different location from the starting point unless the tour has been requested in advance. This tour is available in French, Russian, English, and Portuguese. How much does this tour cost? Each person gives the guide at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to €25 per person depending on satisfaction with the tour).

The tour is really interesting, informative and we learned a lot about the city and it´s history.
Sasha is really nice! However she speaks really really fast (even after asking her to slow down!). If you don't have excellent listening skills, you will have problems to understand her.

Sasha was an absolute joy to have as our guide on the walking tour , she was both knowledgeable and informative and fun . We were shown not just the sites but good restaurants and bars to visit later .

The tour guide was very interesting and informative about the city. She did everything possible to make sure we all enjoyed the two hour tour.. My only slight criticism would be, she needs to slow down her talking particularly for those whose first language is not English as they may have difficulty following the dialogue.

This free tour was much more educational and engaging than many high priced so-called “professional” tours. Sasha shared excellent amount of historical, political and artistic history of the city: each historical site and even regular buildings came alive with her enchanting stories ???? She also shared many useful tips about best restaurants, creperies and cafes. Sasha is exceptional guide, I’d strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rouen

Sasha provided an excellent and in-depth tour for us which really helped us understand the history behind Rouen, particularly relating to the religious background - using the main churches as the starting point. “Little surprises”
Alexandra helped us feel a connection to the Rouen of the past as well as the Rouen of today. Not only did she make the tour fun mixing history into stories, but she was able to answer so many various questions. From where to find the most authentic regional cuisine to where to seek out a place of quiet to the methods used to preserve or rebuild local monuments. She asked at the beginning of the tour what each person hoped to see: art, history, architecture, culture...and she delivered, sprinkling in a few little surprise corners in Rouen that touched everyone's interest.
I would highly recommend spending your morning or afternoon with Alexandra. Just be sure to bring your questions, your sense of fun, and comfortable walking shoes!

Amazing couple of hours walking around Rouen with our brilliant tour guide Sasha. Saw lots of places we might not have discovered on our own. Sasha was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Luc was our guide through Rouen today and he pleasantly entertained us with the story of the town. We enjoined the tour. Only one remark (which accounts for fhe 3 atarts for the organization): please take an umbrella with you. It is easy and it makes easily recognizable at the meeting point. Msg to Luc about the Vikings museum: it is nice and I would recommend it to French speakers. There are English subtitles but it spoils the atmosphere
