Roatán Highlights: History, Culture & Nature Tour

Discover the roots of Roatán in this 2.5–3 hour experience blending history, culture, and nature. Just 5 minutes from the port, you’ll board a comfortable bus for a scenic 15-minute ride to the island’s west side. There, we’ll visit the oldest church on Roatán, a nearly 200-year-old landmark and one of the island’s most treasured buildings. Depending on the weather, our journey may also include a gentle rainforest walk, where you’ll see tropical fruits, medicinal plants, and learn how islanders once lived off the land. This short tour offers a perfect mix of island history, natural beauty, and cultural insight, with convenient round-trip bus transport included. Good to know: The bus will pick you up near the port and drop you back inside the port. Comfortable shoes, sun protection, and mosquito repellent are recommended.
