Things to do Free Tour Rio Like a Local: History, Hidden Gems & Real Stories

We'll kick off at 8:30 AM sharp at the Cinelândia Starbucks and begin an unforgettable journey through the heart of Rio de Janeiro. Ditch the crowds and discover the real Rio on this immersive 4.5-hour walking experience led by a local guide passionate about sharing the city's history, culture, and hidden gems. Explore the historic Cinelândia Square, stroll through the beautiful Passeio Público, the oldest public park in the Americas, and visit the world-famous Selaron Steps. Pass beneath the iconic Arcos da Lapa Aqueduct before marveling at the unique architecture of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Along the way, you'll discover the historic São Francisco de Paula Church, Largo da Carioca, and the magnificent São Bento Monastery. Continue toward the revitalized port area, passing Mauá Square, Little Africa, and admire Kobra's colorful Ethnicities Mural where we end our tour. No public transportation available where we finish the tour.
