Enjoy a morning at the iconic highlight of Brazil and look upon Rio bathing in early sunlight. You'll visit the forested urban area and the Statue of Christ the Redeemer.
Be one of the first visitors to reach the Christ the Redeemer statue without the usual crowd early in the morning. After the pick-up, the tour to Corcovado Hill (704m), and Brazil’s greatest national icon – The Christ Redeemer Statue of Rio de Janeiro – starts at Copacabana beach. It continues along Botafogo beach and passes by the Guanabara Palace, the official residence of the State Governor, on route to Laranjeiras and Cosme Velho districts, where one can still appreciate the old Coffee farm homes of the 1800s. The tour will reach Tijuca Forest, with a stop at Paineiras to board the vehicles of the National Park Authority. The visit at the monument lasts some 45 minutes.
On the way down, we see Largo do Boticário and Casa dos Abacaxis – relics of the Brazilian Imperial architecture -and on via Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas or Copacabana for the drop-off at the hotels.
Remark: In case of poor visibility on the summit of the Corcovado, we make an alternative stop at mirante Dona Marta (362m), generally less affected by cloudiness.
