Join me on a walk through history, architecture, culture and present of a city that bears its name after a river. The city where a few generations of the same family lived in different states, while never leaving their home.
This tour does not have a set price; instead, each person gives a tip to the guide at the end, the amount they consider appropriate (amounts usually range from €10 to €20 per person, depending on satisfaction with the tour). The morning tour lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes, while the evening tour lasts 2 hours. We'll meet up at Jadranski trg (Adriatic square) at the designated time (check the dates!) and, during our walk, you'll see some exciting and unique places within the city center, as well as hear stories about how Rijeka used to be the largest port in Austro-Hungarian Empire, and how the city has developed through centuries. We'll end our walking tour at a wharf in the harbor, where many luxurious yachts are anchored nowadays. This tour is provided in English only.
