“Good Tour of Quebec City for Newbies”
Juan’s walking tour of Old Quebec was just what we needed for first timers to Quebec City. To be shown around and orientated, hear a bit of explanation, history, pop culture (Catch Me If You Can had scenes filmed here), architecture and recommendations. In fact, we followed up with a few of Juan’s suggestions - for dinner and to catch the bus to the Montmorency Falls. Thanks!

“Quebec City”
We’ve done several free tours before, and unfortunately this one was the least enjoyable. There was nothing majorly wrong, but the guide didn’t seem knowledgeable enough to be doing this professionally. We were hoping for more history and information about the city, which was the main reason we joined the tour in the first place.
It also felt a bit uncomfortable when she told us at the very beginning what tip we were expected to give. We did end up tipping the amount she asked for, but it didn’t feel deserved based on the overall experience.
