Punta del Este, some call it the Miami or Saint Tropez of South America, we like to preserve its origins and show how it developed into the glamorous city it is today. Being the most touristic city in Uruguay, we want to tell you the secrets that made it the diva of the summer in the Río de la Plata and why it is an excellent option for the whole year. We meet at the “hand” monument and from there we set out on a two and a half hour journey to show you the best of Punta and talk about the Uruguayan idiosyncrasy. “German ‘ a true sample of excellent tour guide ‘ ”

Punta Del Este Walking Tour with German ???????????? Upon arrival i was welcomed by German. I had a private tour because there was only me ???? German was motivated also to do the tour gor 1 person , a friendly atmosphere so we had a good start in the heat ???? German and tour was good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thanks. German is such a highly motivated/knowledge guide -(recommendable!) I truly enjoyed our walk. The scenery was beautiful -also quiet and peaceful Thanks German… a true sample of excellent tour guide! Gwen

“Highly Recommend”

It was my first experience with FreeTour, I invited some travel colleagues to join us and it was super useful. We didn't have much free time outside of our conference and the tour with Germán was a great opportunity to visit several of the city's tourist attractions, along with rich historical information and tips that we wouldn't otherwise know. We had a lot of fun along the way! We were able to mix English, "Portunhol" and Spanish to communicate. It's a free tour based on tips, it's definitely worth the recognition for the work done.

Es lo primero que debes hacer al llegar a Punta del Este. Es un recorrido muy bien planeado, mientras conoces la ciudad vas coleccionando muchos datos que hacen memorable cada rincón. Además, se nota que Germán conoce muy bien la historia, y siempre está dispuesto a resolver cualquier duda que vaya surgiendo. “Excellent snapshot of Punta del Este”

German is the whole package; on time, well spoken, informative about how Punta del Este was ‘born’ with several interesting stops that we would have missed entirely!! Some fun stories (especially about soccer????), tips related to national dishes, beverages, restaurants, tours etc. So much accomplished in 2.5 hrs and he even shares a ‘recap’ message in the end. You will just have to take the tour to get all the highlights!! He is a credit to the tourism industry.

Very interesting tour. Our guide spoke English that was very easy to understand for a European. He told us many things about the history, society today, their fighting spirit in soccer and much more. The weather was perfect! So happy we made this tour. It was very good that the tour ended in the port next to our tender boats.
