Things to do Puerto Maldonado: Lake Sandoval Canoeing With Lunch

Pick up from accommodation in Puerto Maldonado, then take a motor boat along the Madre de Dios River to the lodge where a cool welcome drink awaits you. Continue to take the boat to get to the control of Tambopata National Reserve Zone, after 1 and half hour walking through the rainforest approach to the famous Sandoval Lake. Be surrounded by immense ancient trees and entangled vines; be able to see multihued flowers and fauna including Giant Otters, birds, colored butterflies, turtles, and a variety of fish. We will spend a few hours canoeing on this most beautiful lake. After a delicious lunch at Lake Sandoval, start our way back to the lodge and return to Puerto Maldonado by boat.
