This tour is dedicated to the knowledge of the history, folkloric traditions, and the historical and cultural heritage of the part of the Brazilian Latin American population that is descended from the Italian and Portuguese European Latin populations in the cities of Bento Gonçalves, Monte Belo do Sul and Garibaldi, and in the rural area of the State of Rio Grande do Sul called Vale dos Vinhedos, which gave origin to the regional folkloric cultural identity, which also encompasses the nearby city of Porto Alegre. Part of the population that founded and developed these cities and this rural area belongs to the current Latin ethnic communities of Friulian-Venetian-Julian, Lombard and Portuguese origin.
