Things to do Free Tour of Podgorica
Walk around Podgorica with me and discover some of the city's most charming places to visit and explore. We'll walk around the historic Ottoman area and visit the city center, where you'll hear inspiring stories about the city's rich history. The neighborhoods we will visit are Drač, Stara Varoš, Preko Morače, and the city center. You will see two rivers and cross two critical bridges. You will have time to take photos at the city's oldest bridge. The best feeling of a town is gained through the food, so we will stop by a famous pastry shop to hear about our eating style. The tour is available in English, Spanish, and French. Free tours work on a donation basis. We suggest a donation of 10 euros at the end of the tour, but it isn't a limit or an obligation.

The tour was excellent, perfect in length and information. Lana is a great guide; speaks fluent English and provided insight on the changing and developing city with tips and recommendations to explore further. I would suggest going on this tour as soon as possible and then explore the city in your own time.

“You may tolerate Podgorica if you take this tour”
Enduring the heat at the end of August and being in Podgorica, one of the ugliest capitals in Europe is indeed a tourist's nightmare. However, Iva managed to present some landmarks and provide historical facts in an appealing way. I am glad to have joined this tour instead of spending my time watching Netflix in my hotel before my flight back home.

Tourist guides say that Podgorica has nothing to offer to tourists. However, the tour will convince you otherwise. Our guide, Iva, was friendly and helpful, spoke clear English, took us to the city's main attractions, and we ended the tour with a pleasant beer at a local restaurant.

Iva is a fantastic guide, passionate and funny too. I ended up having a private tour with her, and she showed me around the city. As a local, she knows "hidden gems", as she called them, that i wouldn't have found without her. The information about the history of the city were precise. Useful suggestion about what to drink and eat too, and where.

Our tour guide Valerija was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly throughout the tour. She made the experience personal by taking an interest in our culture and drawing fascinating comparisons to Montenegro. Impressively, she remembered our names and provided invaluable information, such as taxi numbers, directions to Niagara Waterfall, and recommendations for great food and drink spots. “Incredible tour around the city”
I had a amazing tour around with Vladislav despite it was only two people. He was very professional and informative. He not only took us around the highlights of the city but also through more local areas, that I loved and we had rakia with some locals. History and interesting facts all over two hours about the city, the people and the country, and we ended having a needed local beer with Vladislav in a lovely bar next to the river. It felt more like a stroll with a friend in Podgorica. I highly recommend it.

“Well guided tour with Vladislav in Podgorica”
We had a really nice afternoon with Vladislav when guided through Podgorica! He showed us not only the touristical highlights, but also the parts of town where the locals come and some history behind those places. Even when walking from one stop to the other, he would continue his talks and give us interesting information. Vladislav knew a lot about the history of the country and the current and historical politics which was very interesting. He was genuinely interested in us as well and we could ask him anything.
Afterwards we sat down for a drink at his favorite Kafana and we had a lovely talk about everyday Montenegrin life, the economy, the European urge and the developments going on in the country. It was a pleasure to have this extra mini-talk at the end and we really feel like we learned a lot from him. 10/10 would recommend!

“A great way to get to know Podgorica”
We had an amazing time on our tour of Podgorica with Iva! She took us to some incredible places and her knowledge was so extensive. She was really flexible with the itinerary and made sure we got to see everything we wanted to. In addition, she didn't just repeat dates all the time, but organised the tour in her own way. At the end, we had a drink in a cool location. It couldn't have been better.

El free tour fue excelente, gracias a nuestro guía Vladislav. Aunque estaba lloviendo a mares, nos trajo unos paraguas, y se implicó para que estuviésemos lo más cómodos posible. Aunque acortamos la ruta un poco, debido a la meteorología, la explicación y el trato de Vladislav fue estupenda.
Aconsejo que si puedes realices está actividad, no te arrepentirás.

“Genuine & Authentic Podgorica Tour with Vladislav”
Vladislav was an amazing guide and is overall an extremely kind person. I arrived with no prior knowledge of Montenegro, and he made the history very interesting by telling stories. His english is perfect, and it is very easy to follow. Vladislav is easygoing (making even the most introverted person comfortable enough to ask questions), and you can tell by the way he leads his tours that he truly enjoys what he is doing.
I can recommend, with a warm heart, booking a tour with Vladislav if you want to learn more about the history and culture of Podgorica/Montenegro

Excellent private tour. My guide (Vladislav) was incredibly knowledgable and gave myself a fantastic tour around Podgorica. I learnt about history, art, culture and much more. I am well travelled and have high standards, but I was very happy with my overall experience. He was friendly, informative and more importantly made the solo travel experience very easing. He is punctual, speaks excellent English and is a genuinely a wonderful person. He went from being my tour guide to a personal friend. I would highly recommend him!
