Things to do Free Tour of downtown Osaka
This free tour of Osaka will take us to the most important tourist attractions in the city center. Our first stop is Yasaka Namba, a Shinto shrine known for its theater in the shape of a giant lion's head. Then we will head to Sennichimae Doguyasuji, a street specializing in kitchenware and food replicas.
We will continue along the Dotonbori canal where we will find the iconic Glico sign, a typical postcard of Osaka; we will continue to the small and quiet Hozenji Temple, with its moss-covered shrine to the Buddhist deity Fudo Myoo. Then we will visit the Kuromon Market, a fascinating street to learn about the gastronomy of the city. We will continue walking through the Nipponbashi area, also known as Den Den Town, the manga and anime district. From here we will reach our last stop, the Shinsekai neighborhood, a district known for its retro aesthetics and giant store decorations.
It is in this neighborhood where we will end the free tour, under the famous Tsutenkaku Tower.
