Departure by private vehicle to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the Dinh dynasty (968-980) and at the beginning of the Le Le dynasty (980-1009). Here we visit the two temples of these kings dating from the 10th century. They retain all their beauty. You can admire the delicacy of their art: sculptures, wood carvings and stone engravings were made by Vietnamese artists dating from the seventeenth century.
You will then take a beautiful sampan ride in Trang An passing through the most beautiful caves with many limestone peaks covered with lush vegetation.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit the Bich Dong pagoda (the jade pagoda). In front of the pagoda courtyard, you have a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay on land. Then, return to Hanoi.
