“nice walk”
A very good tour with a guide that knows a lot of the city and island history. Maybe a little too detailed content about the distant history (like before 14 century), and too strictly historical (like at school).
The tour could also start a bit earlier but maybe that's our personal feeling.
After all a very good tour!

“Friendly & Knowledgeable Guide”
My friend & I visited from the US. We were so impressed with how personable his stories were and you could tell he genuinely wanted tourists to know the history and current lifestyle of Cypriots. The tour with Constantinos was a great Welcome to Nicosia. We learned a lot about the history of cyprus and about life in cyprus and especially Nicosia today.
We we're a small group and Constantinos answered all our questions (as he is a local). It was very personal and a pleasant atmosphere. The guide was very nice and gave us some tips in restaurants etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Constantinos! He is an excellent guide, well-prepared and keen on sharing his vast knowledge. He is extremely knowledgeable about Cyprus, its history and the people. The stories about the difficult history of the country are presented as objectively as possible and supplemented with maps and various pictures. Another aspect that I really liked was that he was always willing to answer any questions from the participants. The tour has a really good pace, so you have time to take pictures or grab a cup of coffee, it is really thoughful of the guide. To make it even better, Constantinos shared some (really tasty) home-made Cypriot treats with us, I think it was a lovely surprise!

“Great tour of Nicosia”
Konstantinos has a tremendous knowledge regarding not only Nicosia itself but the whole country, he is also great as far as sharing this knowledge is concerned. The tour did not feel pompous or theatrical, we felt like we were basically walking around with a friend who was showing us his hometown. Also, the way Konstantinos spoke about the sensitive topic of relations between Cyprus and Turkey really touched us. As a cherry on top, when we asked for recommendations of a place that serves traditional orange pie, he directed us to a cafe in the Old Town that definitely lived up to our expectations. A great tour and a great tour guide all around!

“Great Tour with a Knowledgeable Guide”
Constantinos was a fantastic guide! He was well-prepared, with photos and maps on his tablet to enhance the experience. His knowledge of the history of Cyprus and Nicosia was extensive, and he made a real effort to present it from both the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot perspectives.
That said, I have a few suggestions that could improve the free walking tour:
1. The first half of the tour focused heavily on history, but it didn’t always tie in with the places we were walking past. For example, we discussed the statue of Archbishop Makarios, the first president of Cyprus, about 30 minutes before actually seeing it, even though we were just 300 meters away from it at the time of the discussion. The second half of the tour felt more like walking with minimal storytelling. It would be great to balance these two parts, discussing the history of Cyprus while standing near landmarks related to the era being discussed. I really missed that aspect.
2. When stopping at a point of interest, it’s important to wait for all participants to arrive before beginning the explanation.
3. The tour does last 2.5 hours as advertised, but I felt it was missing at least one break to grab a snack or water and rest for a few minutes. Many walking tours arrange a short stop near a local shop or bakery, which would have been a great addition.
4. Lastly, investing in a microphone for the guide could make it easier for everyone to hear, especially in busier areas.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience with a very knowledgeable guide, and I’m sure these small tweaks could make it even better!

“A Walking Tour par excellence!”
Without doubt this was one of the most informative, interesting and educational walking tours we have taken part in. As a Nicosia resident Constantinos was naturally well informed on everything Nicosian. His knowledge of the city and its architecture from the earliest times until the present day is immense and his information was delivered in a most entertaining and comprehensive manner. The tour was so enjoyable that the 2.5 hours whizzed by.

I’m Cypriot by heritage, but I found out things about Cyprus that I didn’t know thanks to the wealth of information and knowledge shared by the wonderful guide Konstantinos. Definitely recommend, as we saw parts of Nicosia we probably would not have done had we not booked on to this tour. Plenty of shady spots to stand in too as you walk around in case you’re worried about that.
