“Disjointed ”
My mother and I booked this tour to gain an understanding of the history of Nice. After an hour and a half, we decided to leave. The tour guide spoke too quietly so it was very difficult to actually hear what she was saying amongst the large crowd. The information provided did not provide a continuous picture of the history of Nice, rather it was a collection of individual stories / vignettes that were not only incomplete, but also uninteresting. The tour guide was not engaging at all, and it was obvious that ourselves, and everyone else was uninterested in what she was saying.
We have had many amazing experiences through this app. Previous guides have been engaging, fun, and managed to paint a picture of whatever it was they were describing. Sadly, this was not one of them.

As I’ve said in my title you don’t need to have been born somewhere to be the most knowledgeable or if you are you may not deliver what you know the best. In our European trip Kaylene has been our 4th city guide who wasn’t born and raised in the city she was presenting. In fact she was the shortest. Only 3 years but in that time her knowledge and her passion of the city has grown immensely. She was great

As an introduction to Nice, this is an entertaining 2 hrs. But Nice doesn’t have (or our guide didn’t bring forward) significant history or cultural depth. Think more soap opera than history documentary!
And I understood that it was a 2 and a half hr tour, but we finished at 2hrs. The Spanish speaking group which started at the same time as us was still going after 2 and a quarter hours, and had a way to go.

My daughters and I really enjoyed the tour and the history and stories shared by the guide. She did a great job with a large group. She made lots of recommendations but because she was American and had only been in Nice for a short time and was making lots of evening recommendations (we were on a cruise port stop) we didn’t follow any of them. Regardless, I strongly recommend this tour as an entré into Nice - and remember to tip!

I believe my tour guide on Nice the 31st of august at 10:30 was named Katleen (american girl studing in Nice for over 1 year). I have been to other free tours but by far this was the best one. Our tour guide kaitleen knew a lot of historical and fun facts about a lot of locations on the tour and I learned a lot and saw cool spots of the city. Thank you!

“Nice walking tour”
My family of 4 had a wonderful experience of a Nice walking tour, with guide Julia, coming off a Celebrity cruise ship. The tour was very informative, Julia was very friendly and helpful, she recommended a great lunch place which we absolutely enjoyed. The sea views from the beach boardwalk were unforgettable, definitely the culmination of the whole 9 day cruise.

We loved our walking tour of Nice with Lucy, who was very energetic and had wonderful stories to share. We are in our 70’s and found the walking to be easy and flat, though we did opt not to go to the Castle at the end.
Our tour group was fairly big, and at times, it was difficult to hear Lucy due to other street noise. It might be a good idea for her to have a microphone for larger crowds later in the summer.
It was clear Lucy enjoys her work, and enjoys meeting people from all over the world. We look forward to getting the email of our group picture!

Our tour guide, Jenny, was great. We walked thru the old town from one end to the other, and then took an elevator up Castle Hill. She told fun & interesting stories of Nice's past. Gave food/restaurant recommendations (two of which I tried and were really good). The tour engaging & informative thru ought - never a boring moment. Highly recommend taking a tour of old town, especially with Jenny.

Nice is a georgeus town, we recommend this tour to everyone. The only remark we wold leave is that our group was probably a bit too big.

“Very Interested And Beloved Tour Around Nice”
We have so great and exiting tour around the old Nice for 2.5 hours. The time passed quickly. It was interesting, gaming. Every person was engaged and satisfied. “Fun facts and main sights combined”
I always like to kickstart my travels with a walking tour, but this was one of the best ones I participated on. We covered all the most important spots including buildings, market and lookout points. My favourite thing is that we also heard about interesting and funny szories and legends which makes the tour really exciting.

We enjoyed the tour very much, it was around 2,5 hours, started in the city centre and ended on the top of the castle with an amazing view. The guide was though from Greece, she was very competent for the city of Nice, she had very good English and in the end presented us postcards ???? Make sure you have comfortable shoes, as you will need to climb up the stairs on the top of the castle. Of course, it would be nice if you also give her a tip in the end as much as you want. “A perfect Into to Nice”
We have taken over 100 Free Walking Tours and this one is very good. Our young guide Lukus was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He told great stories and took us to corners of the Old Town that we might have missed or overlooked. There were stops in the market so we could grab a snack and again at a very good Gelato shop. The climb up castle hill to the waterfall at the end of the tour was worth it. Note: if you don't want to tackle the hill, be sure and let your guide know and tip him or her before you leave the group - they work hard for that money). Enjoy the tour!

A nice small walk around the city of Nice but was our first average walking tour after many great ones. There was little local color and personality added by the guide. Pacing was interesting as well with a 30 min stop at a market and then a long walk up to the viewpoint at the end.
