“Excellent Tour of Brooklyn Bridge and it's Surrounds”
My wife and I earlier this week joined 16 other lucky tourists for Jon Noto's excellent tour of the Brooklyn Bridge and its surrounds.
The 3 hour plus tour flew by as Jon Noto gave us all a really interesting overview of the history and architecture of the areas we walked through. All our questions were answered and we were treated to lots of further information on current topical events taking place in New York. Jon Noto also has a detailed knowledge of 9/11 and shared his perspective on this terrible tragedy which was very interesting to hear.
We stopped a number of times during the walk and Jon Noto took lots of memorable photos for us all particularly from the Brooklyn Promenade.
If you are in New York and trying to decide which walking tour to choose from, I would without hesitation recommend this one and your excellent guide Jon Noto.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as Yvonne and I did.

Lot of food recommendations, dedicated stops to get the best picture with the amazing backdrop(he actually takes photos himself!). If you are short on time, definitely recommend to do this tour! Very professional and enjoyable tour!!

I truly enjoyed the tour with Mike. He provided great information and at the same time kept it fun and entertaining. We also did plenty of photo stops, having the chance to get all the good pictures.
It was a short lived tour and (in my opinion) not too much walking. I would definitely recommend. Also the organization and communication via WhatsApp before the tour was great.

“A fantastic tour with John on Brooklyn Bridge”
John is a terrific story teller and he has very telling stories! We enjoyed the tour very much as he not only depicted, but literally payed out the stories of building the bridge, living in the city and fighting the fights of history in New York, for teaching the lessons learned on a universal level, while he also thought of our needs as a tourist and gave us useful tips and tricks about how to maximise our time and money while we are visiting... “Excellent service all round”
We wanted to meet up with the group in Brooklyn (as we had already walked across the Brooklyn Bridge) and the team from freetour put us in contact with Jon from City Shuffles who had no problem confirming this would be OK. All this in the matter of a few hours. Brilliant communication all round guys - thank you. Then to top it of we had a message from Mike our City Shuffle Guide to welcome us to the group (and confirm our meeting time this morning in Brooklyn) - and the rest as they say is history. Mike provided us with a fabulous tour around the neighbourhood of Brooklyn Heights, lots of information and history of some of the notarys of the area before we headed out to the Esplanade for photos and then down to DUMBO for more insights into how this very vibrant neighbourhood of New York, evolved. All in all a great walking tour, not rushed, very informative and Mike was the consummate guide, always willing to take photos for us, and extremely knowledgeable all round. I would highly recommend this walking tour.
