Explore Kibera, Africa's largest slum, with a local guide who is a social entrepreneur and a non-profit founder. 50% of the booking fees from this tour help in paying school fees for kids in need 50% of the booking fees go back to the community to support needy kids. This tour enables our guests to learn more about the local community's way of life and the history of the Kibera slum. The income generated from the booking fees helps us in paying school fees for orphans and vulnerable kids and funding many other social projects here in Kibera slum. Apart from the Slum walking tour, you will visit: 1) Slum Home Visit. The second stop, which is the main stop, is a home Visit where we will welcome you inside one of the residential houses here in the slum to let you learn more about our way of life, like how we get water, electricity, bathroom system, typical house size, and so on. 2) Handicrafts Centre. You will witness how locals recycle materials to make jewelry and other handmade items. 3) Slum Children's Centre. We run this Children's Centre, and it serves orphans and vulnerable kids
