At 0600 hrs in the morning, be ready for a pick-up from your hotel or your stay in Moshi town; your driver guide will collect your picnic lunches and drive 190 km on the tarmac road to the Ngorongoro Conservation entry gate. Drive to the Crater Rim from the gate, spend a few minutes for a fantastic view of the Crater from the top, and descend into the crater floor for a day-of-game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world's largest intact calderas and one of Africa's most spectacular sights. All the BIG FIVE. Your picnic lunch will be served at the Crater picnic site at Ngoitokok Swamp, a Hippo pool. Proceed with afternoon game viewing. At 1500 hrs, ascend the Crater and drive back to Moshi.
