We will visit the Bay of Pigs Memorial area, where culture is beginning to take on political overtones, and hear in-depth commentary on the heritage, music, art and traditions of Cubans in Miami. We will also enjoy delicious coffee, fruit and typical Cuban sweets. We will visit a Cuban fruit market where we can learn how to buy these foods on the island. We will have a space, if necessary, to ask questions and get answers about the realities between two very different worlds united by their inhabitants.
