Join us for a half-day adventure in Manta! Discover its stunning nature, explore the Monkey Trail, hike the San Lorenzo Lighthouse Trail, and indulge in a delicious seafood lunch. Don't miss the chance to experience it all!
Explore the wild side of Manta on this small group half-day tour to the Pacoche Wildlife Refuge, a natural treasure located along Ecuador’s Pacific coast, just 30 minutes from the city. Walk through the coastal forest and a semidry riverbed, where you will learn about the tropical humid forest, and we may spot howler monkeys, tropical birds, native plants, and, with some luck, capuchin monkeys moving through the treetops.
After visiting the Pacoche forest, we will continue by vehicle to the San Lorenzo Lighthouse area, one of the most beautiful panoramic points on the central coast of Manabí. From here, travelers will enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean while learning about the tropical dry forest, one of the most threatened ecosystems in the region. This stop does not include the lighthouse trail; it is a scenic visit with time to take photos and learn about animals and plants of the forest, local geography, and the connection between these coastal ecosystems.
This experience is ideal for travelers who want nature, wildlife, fresh air, and an authentic side of Manta beyond the city. Transportation, local guide, and entrance to the refuge are included. Maximum 4 travelers.
