DAY ITINERARY: Early in the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel reaching the train station to Poroy/Ollantaytambo (subject to availability). You’ll board the Vistadome train to head to the town of Aguas Calientes. The experience aboard the Vistadome is unique, its panoramic windows along with traditional music and dances will ensure a one-of-a-kind train journey. Upon your arrival, we will take the bus up to the citadel (20 min) and discover the centerpiece of this trip: the enigmatic Machu Picchu! You will visit the main temples as well as the beautiful terraces dedicated to the crops. The remarkable state of preservation of Machu Picchu, with its superb interlacing masonry, satisfies even the most demanding visitor. The tour will take about 2 hours, and then you will have time to fully embrace this magnificent wonder on your own. After this unique experience, we'll return to Aguas Calientes to board the train and departure to Cusco in the late afternoon.
