The Open Tour: a luxurious experience. We’ll admire the beauty of monuments and nature dating back over a thousand years as we stroll through the fortifications and streets of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. A guided tour to discover the Villa Haute, a World Heritage Site. The tour begins on the Plateau de Bourbon and heads toward the Adolphe Bridge to enjoy the wonderful views of the Petrusse Valley. We’ll stop at Constitution Square, home to the war memorial and the statue of the Golden Lady. We’ll learn about the history of Notre Dame Cathedral and the statue of Grand Duchess Charlotte. Next stop: the Grand Ducal Palace and the Chamber of Deputies, the legacy of the crown—a family tradition of sovereign monarchs. From William II Square, we’ll head to the Fish Market, then to St. Michael’s Church. The Casemates of the Bock. Last stop: the Chemin de la Corniche, the large terrace overlooking the Alzette Valley. The hills of Pfaffenthal, Clausen, and the Grund neighborhood. Along the way, you’ll discover the bars, restaurants, and the multilingual culture of the locals.
