Discover Lucerne’s charm on a guided walking tour! Explore the Old Town, cross the famous Chapel Bridge, and see the Musegg Wall (towers closed Nov 1–Apr 1). Enjoy stunning views and learn about the city’s rich history and legends.
Welcome to the heart of Lucerne, a city steeped in history and charm. Embark on a journey through time in the heart of Lucerne, where medieval charm meets breathtaking Swiss landscapes.
Our journey begins in Lucerne’s charming Old Town, with its beautifully preserved medieval architecture and colorful frescoed buildings. We’ll then visit the city’s most iconic landmark — the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) — the oldest covered wooden bridge in Europe, adorned with historic paintings that tell the story of the city’s heritage. Next, we’ll explore the Musegg Wall (Museggmauer), part of Lucerne’s old fortifications. From 1 November to 1 April, we admire the wall from the outside, as the towers are closed for winter.
Along the way, enjoy beautiful lake and mountain views, and get insider tips on the best local cafés, chocolate shops, and hidden gems to explore after the tour.

Really useful if you’re looking for history on the old town, but is really short so everything is seen really fast.
