Mountain Stanserhorn Tour from Lucerne: Funicular & Cable Car

It's a half-day journey from Lucerne up to the summit of Mount Stanserhorn. On this tour we ride the historic funicular (the “old train”) and transfer to the CabriO open-top cable car for the ascent to 1,898 m. You’ll enjoy sweeping 360° views across the Alps and over ten Swiss lakes, a panorama walk, photo stops, and time at the summit to experience the alpine atmosphere. Tickets should be purchased by the travellers in advance, the adult return fare is CHF 82 Train Lucerne - Stans 8-12 CHF (should be purchased separately) An optional lunch stop can be made at the mountain-top restaurant. Lunch is not included, but there is plenty of time to enjoy a meal with stunning alpine views. The funicular + cableway route up takes ~24–25 minutes in total from Stans to summit (funicular + CabriO) The weather in November can be variable — dress in layers; bring wind/rain protection and suitable shoes.
