Stanserhorn Funicular & Cabrio Evening Tour

Escape the city for an evening adventure to Mount Stanserhorn, one of Central Switzerland’s most spectacular viewpoints. Starting from Lucerne, we travel together to Stans, where we board the historic funicular railway before transferring to the unique Cabrio open-top cable car for the ascent to 1,898 m. At the summit, enjoy breathtaking views across the Alps and over Swiss lakes. We will have time for a short walk, photo stops, a visit to the summit shop, and, with a bit of luck, a chance to spot the famous marmots. This relaxed half-day experience is perfect for travellers who want to enjoy the Swiss mountains without committing to a full-day excursion. In the late afternoon and early evening, the light is often beautiful for photography and the summit is typically quieter than during peak daytime hours. Tickets should be purchased by the travellers in advance; the adult return fare is CHF 82. Covered by SwissPass. Train Lucerne - Stans 8-12 CHF (should be purchased separately) The journey from Stans to the summit takes approximately 24–25 minutes (funicular + cable car). Mountain weather can change quickly.
