Akaki is an excellent guide, providing exactly the right level of information about the city of Kutaisi. The walk was 1 hour and 45 mins which was perfect! We booked the tour weeks before our travel to Kutaissi and received a confirmation.
When we arrived on the meeting point in advance, as usual, no one was there. We were waiting for 15 minutes and no one showed up for the tour. We did walked for ourselves at the end.
Hours later I received an email, that the booking was a mistake.
Do not recommend at all.

“Fun and informative tour with informal atmosphere”
This walking tour has been set up by two friends that are locals from Kutaisi. No big, impersonal tour company behind - just two talented guys that want to share their passion for the city (we only met one of them, our excellent guide Irakli, but I can imagine his friend - the official founder - is as fun and knowledgeable). The tour was definitely the highlight of our stay in Kutaisi. The two hours flew by - fun facts, history lessons and genuine discussions about current politics in Georgia. Highly recommended!

Akaki was simply great.
We are a family of 5, where 2 toddler and 1 infant and Akaki took over one of our toddlers handled his had and walked with him through the whole tour. What an amazing gesture!

Our guide Akaki gave us so much interesting facts about the city, especially about the drug shop, where Lagidze was working and made his first lemonade! The next day we visited this mistery and unknown place and got a lot of impressions!
