Things to do Korca Free Walking Tour

Korça free walking tour is organized by local certified guides and is the best way to explore the town. During the tour, we will see the most interesting parts of the city and some of the not touristy areas, talking about history, culture, traditions, architecture and local histories. The tour is about 2 hours starting with the Old Bazaar area and going on with the Pedestrian Street, Boulevard Republica, and the Traditional Cobblestone Streets of Korça. You are more than welcome to join!!!

“really nice tour, guide took time to show special places”

I went to Korca in Summer 2024 and the tour was one of my highlights. We were shown around around through the whole town and the guide was nearly able to answer all of our many questions. He even showed us a secret bunker. Can really recommend!

“A lovely city and great tour”

We enjoyed so much the walking tour of Korce. The guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about his city and Albania. He made the tour interesting and memorable and gave us lots of tips and suggestions of what to do while we were there. I would recommend to do the tour as the first thing while in Korce than will be very easy to plan for the rest of the time there.

We felt he wasn’t really engaged with his group..we were a small group but he didn’t ask were we were from .. not a huge amount of information in fact we learnt more about the town from a podcast on Albania

“Great tour from a great guide”

The tour was really good and we got to see many spots we would never have looked at/for on our own. Eugene also could answer all of our questions regarding Albanian history (recent or older), and also about life in Korçë as he grew up there. He also gave us some great tips for the next things to do, and they turned out really valuable. So thanks again for a really good tour!

“Perfect pace”

Eugine was great. The content and pace was good - he left time for asking questions and conversation. I learnt a lot. I loved scaling the cobbled streets, learning about history through the varied architecture and ending with sunset over the horizon. And the lovely white dog that followed us. The 2 hours flew by. I'd definitely recommend!

We enjoyed the tour with Eugene (the guide) a lot! He did know so much about the history of Korçë and could also tell us interesting stories about Korçë and Albania in general. He walked us through the old town and showed us some beautiful spots, we otherwise would have missed. Would absolutely recommend this tour if you're planning to visit Korçë!

“A great introduction to the city of Korça”

We booked for an evening walk and enjoyed it thoroughly. Eugene gave us an interesting overview of both ancient and modern history and took us to ´must see ´ places as well as the backstreet parts where we probably wouldn ´t venture. An unplanned visit to Vangjush Mio museum was a pleasant bonus.
